Losing a much-loved pet is one of the most frightening experiences any pet owner can face.

That's why we're delighted to introduce Lost & Found Pets, a new community feature from WeeWalkies designed to help bring missing pets home. ❤️

Whether your dog has slipped their lead, your cat hasn't returned home, or you've found a pet and are trying to locate their family, you can now use WeeWalkies to share a Lost or Found Pet alert with the community.

Pet owners and finders can create an alert containing:

• A photograph of the pet
• Their name and description
• The general area where they went missing or were found
• Other useful information to help identify them

Visitors can browse Lost and Found alerts and search by pet type and area or town, helping more people keep an eye out in their own communities.

Active Lost and Found alerts can also appear on the WeeWalkies homepage, giving missing pets even more visibility.

For privacy and safety, personal contact details and precise private locations aren't displayed publicly. WeeWalkies also provides safety guidance to help people reunite pets responsibly.

When a missing pet gets safely home, their alert can be changed to REUNITED ❤️ and become part of our Reunited Stories.

Every one of those little red hearts will represent something very special — a pet back where they belong and a worried family able to breathe again.

But Tufu has brought someone along to help us introduce Lost & Found Pets...

Meet Lumi! 🐈🌸

Lumi is Tufu's new feline companion and the newest member of the WeeWalkies family.

You don't need to have lost a pet to help.
