Wee Walkies is built on trust, kindness, and a shared love of animals. These guidelines exist to keep our community a safe and welcoming place for everyone — pet owners and pet professionals alike.
By joining and participating in Wee Walkies — whether posting in the community feed, leaving reviews, or interacting with other members — you agree to follow these guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate them, without prior notice.
These guidelines sit alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, our Terms & Conditions take precedence.
Our core rules
Be kind and respectful
Treat every member — pet owners, professionals, and businesses — with the same warmth you would want for yourself. Disagreements happen; personal attacks do not belong here.
Be honest
Only share information you genuinely believe to be true. If you are a pet professional, only claim credentials, licences, or qualifications you actually hold.
Keep it relevant
Posts should relate to pets, pet care, or the pet professional community. Off-topic content, spam, or repetitive promotional posts will be removed.
Protect privacy
Do not share another person's personal information — home address, phone number, email, or photos — without their explicit consent.
No hate speech or discrimination
Content that demeans people based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic will be removed immediately and may result in a permanent ban.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, business, or organisation. Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting your identity is grounds for immediate removal.
What is not allowed
- Spam, chain messages, or repetitive self-promotion
- Advertising services or products without prior approval from WeeWalkies
- Sharing or requesting payment details, bank information, or financial data
- Posting graphic, violent, or sexually explicit content
- Threatening, harassing, or bullying any member
- Sharing misinformation about pet health, medications, or legal requirements
- Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid accountability
- Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension
What we love to see
- Share photos and stories of your pets and your work
- Ask questions and offer advice from your own experience
- Recommend professionals you have genuinely used and trust
- Celebrate milestones — new qualifications, new clients, new pets!
- Support other members going through difficult times with their pets
- Share useful resources, articles, and tips relevant to pet care
How we enforce these guidelines
Our team reviews reported content and makes decisions based on the severity and context of each case. We aim to be fair, but we will always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our community.

Repeated offences
Temporary suspension from posting
Serious violations
Permanent account ban
Serious violations — including threats, hate speech, or illegal content — may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Reporting a concern
If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please let us know. Reports are confidential — the person you report will not be told who flagged them.
