1. About Wee Walkies

Wee Walkies (weewalkies.uk / weewalkies.com) is a pet community platform based in Scotland, operated by Paula. We connect pet owners with trusted local pet workers including dog walkers, groomers, pet sitters, boarders, and day care providers.

By accessing or using Wee Walkies, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Membership

Wee Walkies offers an annual membership for £9.99 per year. By purchasing a membership you agree to the following:

• • You must be 16 years of age or older to register
• • You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account, including your full postal address and postcode where requested
• • Your full postal address is private account information. It is collected for safety and account administration, is not displayed publicly, and is handled as described in our Privacy Policy
• • Your membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person
• • Membership fees are charged annually and are non-refundable except where required by law
• • We reserve the right to cancel a membership if these terms are breached

2a. Private Postal Address

We require a full postal address, including postcode, to create and administer a member account and to support the safety of the Wee Walkies community. This information is private, is not shown on public profiles or directory cards, and is not shared with other members.

You must keep this information accurate and up to date. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your private address by contacting us. We may retain it only where necessary for a legal obligation, a documented safety-related reason, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Use of the Platform

When using Wee Walkies, you agree to:

• • Treat other members with respect and courtesy
• • Not post false, misleading, or harmful content
• • Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
• • Not use the platform to spam, harass, or harm other members
• • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that breaches these terms without notice.

4. Pet Workers and Services

Wee Walkies is a community platform and directory. We do not directly employ pet workers or provide pet care services. Any arrangements made between pet owners and pet workers are entirely between those parties.

We strongly recommend that pet owners verify the qualifications, insurance, and references of any pet worker before engaging their services. Wee Walkies accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from arrangements made between members.

5. Courses and Certificates

The online courses provided on Wee Walkies are for educational and informational purposes only. Course certificates issued by Wee Walkies are community certificates and are not accredited qualifications. They should not be represented as professional or regulatory certifications.

In particular, the Pet First Aid course content is for general guidance only and does not replace professional veterinary advice. Always contact a vet in an emergency.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Wee Walkies does not store your card details.

Membership fees are £9.99 per year. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Wee Walkies — including the logo, course materials, text, and design — is owned by Wee Walkies and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this platform without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wee Walkies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Wee Walkies after any changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
